LEATHER COVER
Felek’s classic leather bound journals have beautiful aesthetics and soft texture that can only be found in locally tanned leather. The leather we use is processed at Hafde Tannery, a local establishment that is one of the best progressive tanneries in the world. Hafde’s leather is obtained from small family farms as they are considerate about their impact on the environment. These journals are able to endure tough conditions due to the durable leather encasing. Felek’s soft cover leather bound notebooks offer flexibility, making it the notebook of your choice when in need of creative inspiration. Felek’s journals are available in two types of leather covers. The thick brown leather gives your notebook a refined feel, a notebook that is a sacred space. The smooth leather has a beautiful texture and is highly flexible. It is available in grey and brown.
PLASTIC COVER
These plastic covers are made of reused jerry cans. We obtain jerry-cans from individuals that no longer have any use for them or people that sell plastic to plastic-recycling plants. By creating an alternate use for these products and ensuring that they aren’t left in a landfill or undergoing the environmentally dangerous process of plastic recycling, we contribute to the protection of our environment. By purchasing these durable notebooks you can play your part in contributing to our planet’s well-being.
RECYCLED PAPER COVER
Felek’s recycled paper covers are manually produced in our studio. These hard-cover bindings offer an enticing classic look to your journals and come in various textures and colors, giving you the opportunity to make it your own. The hard cover protects the pages from any damage.

- Recycled Plain - Stitching - Our notebook is bound using the historical Coptic stitching method, allowing it to lay flat open without breaking the binding.
- Paper – Felek’s own recycled paper has a beautiful artisanal color and texture. By collecting waste paper from our printing press, we produce acid-free, handmade paper.
Enclosure
This enclosure protects your notebook from external damage and prying eyes. It is available in leather or elastic.
Smooth Leather Cover
The smooth leather has a beautiful texture and is highly flexible. It is available in grey and brown.
Pen Holder
This pen holder is made of elastic and embedded in the lining of the notebook.
